Why not do it in style with MEDEX at the Museum of Glass?

After considering several locations, MEDEX has chosen Tacoma's Museum of Glass to host our Golden Anniversary Celebration. This site is uniquely Northwest.

The 75,000-square-foot Museum of Glass opened in 2002, and key to its development was Tacoma native Dale Chihuly. His hand is everywhere in the world of modern blown glass, and the Museum's Bridge of Glass is a masterwork of Chihuly's form, design and color. This footpath bridge links the Museum of Glass with downtown Tacoma hotels.

For those not on foot there are 179 parking spaces in the museum's subterranean garage. Evening event parking is $5.

Apart from all the bustling activities we have planned during this celebration, the museum space offers lots of spaces for groups of guests to go off and catch up with one another. After our 40th anniversary celebration in 2009, we learned this was a need.

Among its many amenities, the Museum is scenically situated along the Foss Waterway and Dock Street Marina. Come early to stand at the outdoor bistro tables, enjoy a drink and watch the sunset at 6:41 pm on that day.

The MEDEX 50th Anniversary Celebration ends at 10:30 pm, but this doesn't mean the partying must stop. Unfatigued merrymakers are encouraged to head next door to the Social Bar & Grill at 1715 Dock Street, a mere minute away on foot. All in all, we think we made the right choice for the venue.
