It's a Big Tent, So Come On In!

Reconnect with your classmates, colleagues and PA peers

After 50 years, MEDEX has a wide reach. As of August this year, the program will have graduated over 2,600 students who have gone on to become certified physician assistants. This effort took a village made up of hundreds of faculty, staff, proctors, preceptors and guest lecturers, all contributing to the education of our regional PA workforce.

But this occasion is bigger than MEDEX alone. Since we were there at the infancy of this profession, it's appropriate to include national figures from professional associations and PA schools across America. And a special call goes out to those who were involved in the earliest days of the profession. All are invited.

We'll mark the country's milestone by displaying the NIH/National Library of Medicine Traveling Banner Exhibition. Developed in partnership with PA History Society this 6-panel exhibit, entitled Physician Assistants: Collaboration and Care, will be on display at the Museum of Glass. And wouldn't you know it? There are historic images from the MEDEX photo archives prominently displayed in the exhibit.
